    I just purchased your book.

The downloadable files on idiotsguides.com/singing are nowhere to be found…their web site is being rebuilt and is in “beta.”

Is there an alternate location for now?

I’d like to keep the book but would like to know if the files can be found; otherwise I’ll return the book 🙁

I contacted Idiot’s Guides through their Facebook page and they sent me a Dropbox link for the audio files….thanks, Clive

I also purchased Idiots Guide to Singing. The audio files do not exist at the link provided (idiotsguides.com/singing). Where can I download the files? The book loses its educational value without the audio examples & exercises.

Same issue for me. One of the reasons I purchased the book was for the “bonus audio files available online”

    • Michael Miller January 14, 2015 at 3:11 pm

The publisher revamped their website and in the process took down all pages that had extra content, like the one for this book. They’re aware of the issue and working to get the content back online; I’ll post here and notify users when the files are available again. I deeply apologize for this issue, and for the publisher’s stupidity.

The publisher has come up with a workaround with the audio files now available for download from their website. It’s not the final solution, but it should get you up and running. The files are available here: http://www.idiotsguides.com/singing/. I apologize for this entire situation.

Wish I could get audio files. I am enjoying the book, but it will have to be returned

So now we have to purchase another book ??
I have your book and would like to access the musical files at no extra cost.
    Thank you

Jim, not sure what your comment references. In the first edition of the Singing book, all the exercises and singalongs were on an accompanying CD. For the second edition, we moved all that content online. You don’t have to purchase anything new; if you have the first edition, you have the CD, and if you have the second edition, you have the online content. Here’s the new link to that content online: https://www.dk.com/us/9781615646210-singing-second-edition/

Hi Michael, I just bought your 2nd edition book on singing yesterday and was so excited to download the online audio practice tracks, but, like everyone else above, NONE of the links work. Can you please find out what’s going on? And, send a WORKING link when you get it? Thank you.
